It is mid 1979. A young boy joins his father at work. The massive building is the size of a city block on Manhattan’s west side. To the kid, it is nothing short of amazing. Hundreds of lights hanging from the ceiling. The strange combinations of smells and sights. Sawdust from the scene shop. Vacuum tubes, electrical equipment and televisions giving off their peculiar aroma. It permeates the gargantuan structure.
