Tuesday is election day. Don’t worry, not for most of us. But in middle Tennessee voters will head to the polls to elect a replacement for Congressman Mark Green, who resigned in July.

The race is getting national attention. There are six candidates on the ballot, but the Republican nominee is Matt Van Epps, a decorated U.S. Army vet who most recently led the Tennessee Department of General Services.
